Two REACH High School students successfully met all of the requirements of Latinas In Progress (LIP), a powerful educational series, sponsored by the Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas (HWNT). Since September 2021, Chloe M. and Maya H. visited six college campuses, performed acts of community service, and participated in high-quality workshops which will prepare them for their college experience after high school graduation.
On Saturday, April 23, 2022, HWNT hosted its annual LIP Graduation & Scholarship Program. These REACH High School scholars were among 81 Fort Worth area Latinas who graduated as members of the Latinas In Progress Class of 2022. Of the 75 scholarships awarded, REACH High School students received two.
Chloe M. received the AT&T Scholarship and Maya H. received the Gloria Anabel Rios Scholarship. These young ladies have shown maturity, integrity, and a commitment to excellence, and will continue to thrive in their college years and beyond. Your REACH High School family is extremely proud of all of you!
Special thanks to the Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas (HWNT) and their continued support of REACH High School Latinas.
