REACH High School Gives Blood and Saves Lives

On Tuesday September 24,2019, REACH High School students participated in a Carter BloodCare blood drive. Students donated 19 units of blood, saving 57 lives. Student Abby Sauceda said, “I donated my blood because I know how essential blood can be to someone in need of it.” Adam Najar commented, ” I wanted to donate blood because it was something that I’ve wanted to experience. Knowing that I could save 3 lives with my donation, this was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up.” Daniela Castaneda admitted, “Although needles scare me, I decided to donate blood; not only did it make me feel better, but also I helped my community.”

REACH High School will hold  another Carter Blood drive on March 3, 2020 from 9:00a.m. until 2:00p.m. Mark your calendars! Community members and family are welcome to participate!
